This is the first community owned Diamond Open Access journal dedicated to experimental pragmatics. • Topics related to Discourse (e.g. connectives);
• The Evolution of communication and pragmatics;

• Inference (e.g. logical inference, conversational and conventional implicature);
• Intonation and meaning;
• The Neurobiological underpinnings of pragmatics;
• Reasoning;
• The Semantics/Pragmatics interface;
• The Social and cognitive mechanisms underpinning communication (e.g. theory of mind, common ground)
• Social meaning;
• Valence and affect in meaning.

Types of submissions

• Present robust and replicable experimental data
• Provide access to data and analysis scripts where possible
