The International Journal of Development Education and Global Learning (IJDEGL) has a close relationship with the Academic Network on Global Education (ANGEL - https://angel-network.net/), the world forum examining research on global education. ANGEL is a EU co-funded partnership project developed between Global Education Network of Europe (GENE) and the Development Education Research Centre (DERC) at IOE, UCL's Faculty of Education and Society (University College London, UK). It brings together and provides services to academics, researchers, policymakers, educators and any other professionals with expertise in the fields of Global Education, Global Citizenship Education, Development Education and Education for Sustainable Development.

IJDEGL Editorial Board members are represented on the ANGEL Advisory Board and the journal has a presence at ANGEL conferences. Journal calls for papers are also prominently advertised to the network.
